Sweat stains most often appear along collars and underarms, where fabric meets skin. With time, perspiration and everyday wear can leave behind subtle discoloration.

Thoughtful, timely care helps lift residue while preserving the structure, color and longevity of the garment.

Prewash

• Pre-treatment is key when addressing sweat stains. Acting early helps preserve color and fabric integrity
• Apply Lindry Lab Stain Remover directly to the affected area and use the Lindry Lab Stain Brush to gently work the solution into the fibers.
• For longer-set stains or deeper buildup, create a paste using Lindry Lab Oxy Booster, Stain Remover and water
• Gently brush onto the stain and allow it to sit briefly before laundering.
• For more persistent staining, after applying the Oxy Booster paste, submerge the garment in warm-hot water and allow a 30 minute soak before laundering

**Only Use Oxy Booster on Cotton or durable synthetics-never on silk, cashmere or wool.

Washing

• After pre-treating, launder using your favorite Lindry Lab detergent and follow the garment’s care label
• Wash with similar colors to preserve clarity and prevent transfer.
• For cotton garments — particularly those prone to underarm and collar staining — wash in warm water to help lift remaining buildup
• Ensure stains are fully removed before drying, as heat can set discoloration. If any staining remains, repeat the pre-wash treatment before drying.
• For performance fabrics, select cold water and a low-agitation cycle to maintain elasticity and prevent odor from settling back into the fibers.

Drying

• Dry according to care instructions 
• Refresh with your favorite Lindry Lab Clothing & Home Scent to extend a refined, lingering finish.

LL Tip: Set-in stains may require more than one treatment. When in doubt, allow the garment to air dry before machine drying, as heat can set any remaining discoloration. Repeat treatment as needed. On white or lighter fabrics, Stain Remover or an Oxy Booster paste may be left on slightly longer before laundering. As with any treatment, first test in a discreet area to confirm color stability.
