Always begin with your garment’s care label. Not all cashmere and wool are created equally, and each piece deserves thoughtful attention. If unsure, test a small, hidden area first to ensure there is no shrinkage or tightening.
Prewash
- Apply Lindry Lab Stain Remover directly
- Gently dab with a clean, damp cloth. Do not rub, as friction can cause pilling
- Continue with your preferred washing method
Hand Wash or Machine Wash
- Hand washing is the preferred method for both cashmere and wool
- Fill a basin with cool water and add Lindry Lab Cashmere & Wool Wash, refer to the product instructions for proper dosage
- Submerge the garment and gently press to distribute the wash.
- Soak the garment for up to 30 minutes
- Rinse thoroughly with cool water. Never wring or twist, as this can damage delicate fibers and cause stretching
- Gently press out excess water and reshape
- For machine washing, select a low-agitation cycle, such as wool or delicate (make sure the water is cold)
- Remove promptly at the end of the cycle
- Reshape while damp, and lay flat to dry. Do not hang or machine dry
Drying
- Lay flat on a clean towel and roll gently to absorb moisture
- Lay flat in a natural shape on a drying rack to dry overnight.

Storing
- Store cashmere and wool garments folded, never hung
- For long-term storage, use breathable materials rather than plastic
- Refresh between wears with Clothing & Home Scent 23 for a refined, lasting finish
LL TIP: Wash cashmere and wool separately to preserve the integrity of each fiber. Always wash like colors together. Dark dyes may release color, especially during the first few washes.
Freshen between wear and washing with the Clothing & Home Scent 23. You don't have to wash your cashmere and wool after each wear.
